I've noticed you still have an ad with us. Is this group still active? If so, would you like us to move you're ad over to the-OCT-list? You're other option would be to let us delete your ad for now, and resubmit to either group when you're ready (we'll be moving listings back to OCTF in the future, after I've cleaned it up!) I start surfing the OCT Followers OCL list and look what I run in to! May I enquire as to how much a person needs to know about advance wars to think about joining at some point?
If you've ever played Advance Wars 1 ,2 or Dual Strike, your pretty much there. As long as you have a basic understanding of units and their counters, as well as CO Powers and Super Powers, thats pretty much the minimum you need to know ^^
Would a Let's Play with a comprehensive run down of everything you've mentioned be fine?
Sorry for the late reply, but yes, a Lets Play will likely get most of the information covered. As long as you have an understanding of unit interplay, because that is a large part of how the conflict will work.
Obviously, there will be some creative leeway turning a Turn-based, grid-terrain combat system into a realtime creative extrapolation, but a large part of the games will remain intact.
